thats right, i found the OE pass. side plate at a yard and then ordered the euro/drivers one from BMW munich.
H&B decals output
had my buddy Smeraglinolo (yes thats really his name) make these for me from the original templates, took a bit of work in prep on my end and he spent a great deal of time making them, however for now im holding off on installing.
installing the HB air dam

H&B wheels
were the original H&B 3-ps wheels of the era. i sold em to recoup expenses and i wasn’t a fan of the fitment. they are still avail today.
fuel tank coating.
kbs (tank) kit was used.
3 step process, could easily be one the most difficult phase of this build. though these tanks are NLA i didnt have many options.
Air Dam
oddly enough HB specialists (once H&B) still had an original in the RAW gel-coat e24 air dam. safe to say i picked it up.
tear down part 2
i knew the head gasket was blown at time of purchase, here are the photos of its removal and the carnage that ensued pushing me toward the direction i took for a full rebuild.

- heat shield on hood
